es:AddTags is a Tagging access-level action in the es service. Grants permission to attach resource tags to an OpenSearch Service domain, data source, or application

Condition keys

Keys you can use in the Condition block of a policy that grants es:AddTags.

aws:RequestTag/${TagKey} String

Filters access based on the tags that are passed in the request

aws:TagKeys ArrayOfString

Filters access based on the tag keys that are passed in the request

aws:ResourceTag/${TagKey} String

Filters access based on the tags associated with the resource

Example IAM policy

A minimal policy that allows es:AddTags. Replace "Resource": "*" with a specific ARN to follow least privilege.
