Permissions management

lambda:AddPermission is a Permissions management access-level action in the lambda service. Grants permission to give an AWS service or another account permission to use an AWS Lambda function

Resource types

ARNs that lambda:AddPermission can be scoped to in an IAM policy.

arn:${Partition}:lambda:${Region}:${Account}:function:${FunctionName}

Condition keys

Keys you can use in the Condition block of a policy that grants lambda:AddPermission.

aws:ResourceTag/${TagKey} String

Filters access by the tags associated with the resource

Example IAM policy

A minimal policy that allows lambda:AddPermission. Replace "Resource": "*" with a specific ARN to follow least privilege.
